Earth Month came and went, but then I saw this gut-punch of a headline from the NOAA — ‘Worst coral bleaching event in human history.’

I felt like throwing my hands up, but then looked at my creative team (my kids) and thought, wait a minute, maybe we can do something interesting here. So, we put our heads together to think outside the bin and brainstormed some creative ‘what if’ scenarios. Here’s where we landed.

01 Silent Bloom

What if coral — the ultimate underdog, wasn't as helpless as we thought. What if these stationary superheroes could suddenly think for themselves. What if coral got creative, went rogue, and started fighting back. It's like the ultimate coral comeback story. And honestly, who wouldn't root for that. 

02 Process & Tools

I’ve been working with generative AI since its earliest days, translating its potential into real-world commercial applications. I use it as a core part of my creative toolkit, to explore concepts, run visual experiments, storyboard and quickly validate ideas.

  • Midjourney for style and tone

  • Flora for nodal rendering with all the LLM’s

  • Photoshop, Premiere for editing
